These routes run by the Cesna Cultural Park and Villavieja, being shorter, but equally rich cultural, ethnic and social and some of the places that best retain the charm of the area.
The first (Cesna Cultural Park) starts in the plaza of the town of Fuentes of Cesna, in the direction of the ancient village of "Old sources", well out of the cemetery, either walking down the street from el Picacho.
Along the way, we enjoy stunning views over the West of Granada and the nearby province of Malaga, all presided over by Lake of Iznájar blue blade. Soon we will find the first traces of the old town and in the having, many spaces equipped for rest with ancient sources in their vicinity.
Leaving the village, we went towards the reservoir down rural roads where lie the ruins of the castle of Cesna, a place of singular beauty.
In order to make the path to the Tajo de Villavieja (Archaeological Complex Villavieja), where beauty meets the remarkable wealth archaeological of the municipality. This route starts at the end of the village of Fuentes de Cesna, continuing to take road to the mill of Lopera. All the way you can see olive trees on the sides.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy some of the best views of the Cesna Cultural Park of the Embalse de Iznájar, and front views of the Grenadian west.
